Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Your health information deserves clear, careful treatment. This policy explains what Tensie handles and the choices you have.

1. Information the app handles

Tensie may handle the readings you enter or scan, including systolic, diastolic, pulse, date and time, position, arm, and optional notes. It may also handle the profile name and reminder settings you choose to add.

2. How information is used

Your information is used to provide the app’s core features: saving readings, showing history and trends, scheduling reminders, and creating exports you request. Tensie is a record-keeping tool and does not use your data to diagnose or treat a medical condition.

3. Monitor photos

When you choose Scan, the app uses a photo of your external blood pressure monitor to detect the numbers on its display. Detection can make mistakes, so you must review the values before saving. Photos are not intended to become part of your permanent reading history.

4. Your choices and control

You can enter readings manually instead of using a photo. You can edit or delete saved readings, change reminder settings, and create a CSV export from within the app. You can also manage camera, photo library, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

5. Data retention and security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Deleting the app may remove locally stored data; exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them.

6. Children’s privacy

Tensie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

8. Contact

If you have a privacy question or request, contact us through the Support option in the app.

Important

Tensie does not measure blood pressure, provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or replace professional care.
